    Bannerghatta National Park

We spent about four hours at Bannerghatta National Park, which is just south of Bangalore, India.

At this time of year, there are a lot of cloudless, sunny days, so photography out in the open was a bit of a challenge. But in the more shaded areas, things got a bit more interesting. Being a weekday, the place was packed with organized trips of school children and preschoolers. So a short photo essay taken in front of the butterfly house...

Every school trip ends up with a class picture(?)

This means the backpacks have to get dumped somewhere...

And of course, organizing children of any age is rather like herding cats...

I think in most countries like this, they are all the same. At least they are all together in one place. Very colourful and the kids looks well behaved. I prefer the third shot -- it is nice to see the expressions of each of their faces.

Nice series, the colour shines as does the excitement of the young.
