The Bilby's are to find in the arid zones of Northern Australia, and they are sort of a bit like a rabbit......
Here in Australia they can be bought in chocolate, and are favorites to give at Easter time, instead a bunny........

Nice and sharp considering the lighting you probably had.
Have you thought about trying to correct the colour a little bit? It will never be perfect but you maybe able to improve it slightly. Below is a quick edit done by just using levels.

Thank you.....but the colour is correct in this instance, as the heat lamp was a red infrared light, so the soil looked very like as one the image.......

Thanks for the added info...I thought SA is warmer than Melbourne...and that Bilby will get used to your weather condition over there......it is cold down here at the moment -- you are both better off over there...for now...
