No filters to be used with that lens I assume?

A very large 82mm?? filter will screw into the removable hood but is only useful at narrower zoom settings. So,no, filtering must be simulated during post-production. I have been told that polarizing filters are not useful at wide angles but I have no experience with that. A good neutral density filter IS useful for landscapes but how are they affixed to any wide angle lens I do not know either. Photoshop can simulate a NDF but not, to my knowledge, a polarizer.

Have fun with the D810 -- such a beautiful camera...Love it!

Oh btw...I like the first image. In my mind, they looked like fighting cowboys but with thorns. 'Must be using "thorn guns" at each other... Ouch!!!
