Moods - Sun Up, Sundown and Somewhere In-between

Three more from the recent trip to the Lake District. This was the view up the valley from the front door of the cottage. The idea came to me one evening when my wife called me to look at the sunset. The whole valley was bathed in red light. By the time I had managed to grab the camera and set it, most of the light had faded but just a suggestion remains ("Sun Down"). The reason I took these is because my local club has a Triptych competition each year and I thought that these might be one entry. C&C as always, most welcome.

Those are nice shots John...I recently watched a video showing a technique that Adobe is developing
to replicate the same thing...changing the time of day.

Thanks all for the comments. It's a lovely valley that clearly changes its mood quite regularly. I would never tire of looking out at the view if I lived there permanently but I think that a heavy snow fall, whilst being quite stunning to look at, would have you trapped for a few days. (To our Canadian and US viewers - cos we're not used to it )
