    Photographing Japan

We have just started a 3 week trip touring Japan. Presently in Tokyo (and wife's parents have moved into our house in the UK to sort out the garden!).

Very interesting culture: seemingly everyone has a camera. Lots of high end gear, lots of amateur equipment and a veritable sea of smartphone cameras. The cult of the selfie is living it large here. And the people seem to be totally used to the digital capture of their lives by all and sundry.

So is people photography an interest of yours and if so how do the citizens react to having their photograph taken.

Will await your image postings of your trip. Japan is a very peaceful upmarket place no matter where you go. Try parking your car or a bike. It will be an interesting experience to say the least.
