My nephew had his headphones and on an impulse, took an image with my Macro 100mm IS USM. What was surprising is that the headphone was kept atop a shiny surface expecting reflections, tried lighting it from the side with a single FRX 400.

Nice effort, if reflections were what you were after; they are there you just need to bring them to the surface. Do you think reflections will benefit the image more than your provided example? Could they also be a distraction? Just wondering what your thought are?
