    Actually, there is a lot of difference, John without the yellow cast. I was quite surprised at the sharpness of Kodiak's edit. Well, to my eyes it makes a difference as I am not a black and white expert nor enthusiast before I joined CiC...

    Hi Izzie,

    Very well observed! Many are producing images with a nasty yellow cast! I
    don't know which of the few possible sources it comes from…

    In colour and in B&W, it will affect the micro contrast… like having (in B&W)
    a light soft-focus grey veil over the image… that's why it is so important to
    start with the right colours in B&W!
