If you calibrate in the daytime and then do PP in the evening with artificial light, the calibration will be off.

To clarify that, the time of day is not the issue. Instead, it's the light in the room that is the issue. As an example, if the windows in the room have blackout shades or something similar, the light in the room during daytime and nighttime can be very similar. I've set up my home office that way.
