Checking out what's on the menu for lunch
Taken on the Goulburn river at a local winery where we had gone to fill the back of the truck with a load of bottles of clean skin Chardey, purely for medicinal use only, of course.

A rare old bird is the pelican
its beak holds more than its belly can.
It can hold in its beak
enough food for a week
and I'm damned if I know how the hell it can.

Normally I would say that poetry is good food for the soul...this case however, would lead to starvation.
The saving grace is that I do like the picture...the extreme DOF works in this image.
