    Last Nights sunset

    No tripod
    High ISO (1250)
    Hand held at 1/13s
    F/1.4

Kind of broke a few rules for landscape photography, but I liked the tree line and the sunset was a beauty.

The gritty look complements the fire-storm appearance of the sky. Very nice.

Beautiful image Steve... Gorgeous colour and detail in the sky..

Was the rule that you broke for landscape photography - no tripod? Or?

Usually, you use a tripod------ISO 100-----Never hand held at less than 1/over the focal length of the lense----Usually at a large depth of field, not f/1.4

    Thank you.

I thought of the iso but I was guessing, and I totally missed the DOF... For some reason it really works in your photo... beautiful! I will try it.

It works because everything in focus is in a horizontal line.
