    Hocking Hills State Park

I call this spot the whirlpool. The whirlpool can best be seen from above the area where the log is located. I preferred this shot on the day I was there. Early morning before the sun came through the trees.

Hi, Don. Very vibrant photo, you picked up the wall textures beautifully and the extended DoF works perfectly. I am quite familiar with that area as my cabin is about 6 miles from there, but I can't place this location, at least from this perspective. Can you share that location?

After you go over the whirlpool and walk on the trail going towards the Old Man's Cave area, just down the hill a little bit you can get down by the creek. I crossed the creek and captured some photos looking the other way and turned around and saw this perspsective. I had not been down by this area of the creek before but because it was down I was a able to get across and capture this image.

That's a nice use of a long exposure. The stillness and the reflection in the FG is just lovely.

    Thanks, Don.
Were you moving on the trail toward the Upper Falls or the Lower Falls?

All the beautiful pics you guys have posted from this park, I might have to make a trip up there just to shoot. This is really nice, Don.

Really a nice shot, Don. Great comp and made the most of color and texture. The only nits I see are the reflected light on the leaves at upper left and a bit on the rocks near he water. Did you use a polarizer?
