Birds And A Rose From Today...

Dottie and I made a photo trip to one of the lakes in the city this morning. The images below are some of what I captured. C&C welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

All great shots. Though I do like the birds a teeny bit over the flower particularly Swan 2 and 3.

    Hi Joe,

I love #1 - I don't think it isn't level, judging by the reflection, but the angle of the wake works a treat in this composition and the lighting and exposure is gorgeous.

Talking of exposure, I felt (perhaps mistakenly) that the Wood Ducks were a touch bright - well I'd have made the a 1/3 to a 1/2 a stop less

I also like the Anhinga shot.

    Anyway, exemplary series as usual,

Hello Otavio, thank you for taking time to view and comment. Fortunately this year the eggs were more protected and watched, last year a street person was stealing them for scrambled eggs.

Hello David, you are right on all counts. In a rush to post I neglected to straighten the first image. Regarding the Wood
Ducks I think you must be reading the history that Lightroom stores for every image. When I finished post processing I thought that the thumbnails appeared a touch dark so respectively I raised the exposure by 1/3 and 1/2 stops. Most likely a result of the bright room in the afternoon making the images appear underexposed. I now have restored the original exposure.

    No EXIF peeping occurred, honest.
