Practicing baby shots:
Hi All,
An expecting Grandpa has to practice, or not?
If I had to capture images like this of my grand child, would he remember his Grandpa by the photographs hanging on the wall or will he tear them up, when he is a grown man?
Thanks for looking and any C&C will be much appreciated.

Your makeup artist was a bit heavy-handed and stopped before completing the project.
Seriously, this is a really great idea to practice. If you can use that lighting and setup using your grandchild, you'll do very well.

Similar to your shot, the only time you will get one to sit still long enough to get a photo is when their eyes are closed. When they are mobile be prepared for quick candid shots. Camera on, f-8, flash on. As a PS, enjoy the moments yourself as they will never be repeated. Take photos when you can but the experience with grand-kids and their excitement while learning is much more valuable than any picture.
