Small white boat on the horizon, roughly central. I would 'sink it'. Those on the far right of the horizon don't notice so much.
Not sure about the buoy in the bottom right corner. It does look better when viewed at full size.
Otherwise, very good.
Trevor this a bit closer to what I was expecting. Great colours in the water. You could try using a gradated or burn adjustment to darken and increase the contrast on the sky and mountains (here we all pretend they are not volcanoes).
Looking forward to seeing many more photographs seeing as we went to so much trouble to get the weather right.
Very nice image, Trevor. I agree with L. Paul, regarding increasing the contrast on the mountains/volcanoes.
Thanks for sharing it!
Agreed with all the above. I miss seeing New Zealand.
Thanks: I have tried five times to upload the image with the suggestions, Tinypic seems to be censoring my attempts.
At any rate, it improves the image quite a bit. As those who are more astute than me have already determined.
Paul; thank you for the weather. Despite the fact it almost destroyed your agriculture sector. Glad to see the tourism department is on the ball.
Robin The captain of the boat was given the option to take to the life rafts, in true maritime tradition she elected to go down with the ship.
