Re: Tony and His Girlfriend Score
Hello Karm,
Nice picture, with a good "feel", it tells a sory and that is good. The fact that it is in devided in three parts is good too. Weel done.

Re: Tony and His Girlfriend Score
I like the concept but his face is totally dark and that hurts the picture, imo.

Re: Tony and His Girlfriend Score
Hi Karm - interesting concept, almost an environmental portrait.
That being said, it doesn't work for me because it is too busy. I can't figure out what the subject is and my eyes keep flitting around the image trying to find focus and they just never do. Unless one can clearly identify the subject, the image ten ds to not work. One thing that might work would be to play around with it in post and have Tony in colour while the background is in B&W. I also agree with the comment about the face being too dark; Tony blends into the background.

Hi Manfred. I like your idea of selective colorization. I'll definitely play with it.
I took this picture and cropped it the way I did because it struck me as a stage or a movie scene. As Koos said, it tells a story -- at least that was my intent. Of course with film or stage the actors speak and that draws your attention and focus. Here, I have to rely on the viewers imagination to generate dialog between the picture's characters.

Re: Tony and His Girlfriend Score
FWIW: the guy's face in shadow reminded me of the film, The Score, with de niro. He was a dodgy character who was always in the shadows, particularly his face.
