    Anhinga banking

Male anhinga bringing branch to nest. Not often we get them with any green and perfect light. Image from Anhinga Trail, Everglades National Park.

    Commets welcome and much appreciated

There seams to be a green cast but I would imagine anything black and shiny in the everglades would have a green cast . This is a beautiful picture of a beautiful bird. Great job Alfred!

    Great shot Alfred. Beautiful colours.

    Those eyes are BIG...
We don't have them up here so this is my first proper look at one. Thanks.

Nice capture, were you panning on this shot, it doesn't look like it?

Hi John Yes I was panning but had enough shutter speed to make a sharp image, normally I like to have 1/2500 or more if possible. The lens was tripod mounted.

Nice image, love the branch showing the Anhinga doing something. A tighter crop than I may have done, but that is a personal choice and not a criticism. I like it. Great website, wonderful images.
