A Thank You from the Heart

Waited for over 3 hrs to see my step daughter running in the Auckalnd marathon last Sunday 0 and missed her.
But I did get this one.

And I ...

... waited 2 hours with my daughter to see a Doctor at A&E, and had about as much luck! (she's OK now though!).

Cool shot - we don't see walking hearts every day!

For single subject shots like try opening your apature to decrease your DOF. The background isn't important to this shot at all, and is a bit distracting.

2 hours, huh? you could have finished medical school in that time. I thought you guys have flying doctors! No?

What is A&E? You mean the TV channel? For audition?

Not really - you're probably thinking of Australia, although we do have "Doctor Dave" who flies himself around the country doing pilot medicals.

"Accident & Emergency" - our name for the place they take you after a car accident or if your having a myocardial infarction (that's medical speak for a heart attack - bet you didn't know that!).

I believe its called the ER (emergency room) or ED (emergency department) in some other countries if that helps

No worries, you are talking to a holistic doctor!

You really think landscape photography is closer to the heart than the legs? If I can do that, I can do orthopedics
