Nothing but fog on the Tyne

Nothing but fog on the Tyne

This shot is looking back (south) towards the mouth of the river Tyne, Tynemouth. I'm stood on the causeway to
St Mary's Lighthouse. After years of industry natures beauty shines through, what say you?

Indeed, that's probably not a view that would have been possible at the height of industrial activity. The down-side however, is that nice views don't provide as much employment as industry once did.

Just a couple of comments re your image, Michael:

    • I'm not sure there's anything that serves as the main point of attention; i.e. a place where your eye starts and then wanders over the rest if the picture. So there's nothing to home in on.
    • It needs quite a bit of anti-clockwise rotation. Have a look at the horizon - it's sloping way down to the right.

Welsh boy, past 60 boy. Worked in those industries never cease to be amazed when they are cleaned up. But see your point.
The shot. Yes see the error. See the omission. You will make something of me eventually.
    Thanks
