Ring-billed Gull...

I captured these images at Ft. Desoto County Park in St. Petersburg, Florida. The north beach is a wonderful place for nature photography, undeveloped and natural with a nearby lagoon. To get these shots I was racing along the beach ahead of the gull to be on the right side for the light as it walked near and in the breaking surf. C&C welcomed and appreciated. I would say that your race was effective!!! Very beautiful shots.
In #2 I love the blue tones on the shadowed gull's back
In #3 I like very much the extremely sharp shadow of the gull and the small shells around it, they enrich a background that otherwise would have been a bit empty

I like that the light & your lens caught "his" red eyeliner in pic #3, I had one that took a seat next to me yesterday at the beach while we were watching a Marbled Godwit, it's the loveliest of red eyeliner and something I had never noticed before...
