Little B.I.F practice today
Again froze out of work...so what better to do than see if I might catch a few shots. Things were a bit slower today but I managed a few.
I see I need to back off on my output sharpening, the fullsize images have no halo. C&C always welcome.

Re: Little B.I.F practice today
Thank you, Bobo. I on occasion wish for a little more....but....really it just inspires me to work harder at getting a little closer sometimes.
Thanks, Matt. I do like a mix. Some circumstances are better suited for close ups but they can be somewhat boring for me if done to much. I like to include the envirnment to some degree if it is pleasing as it gives context to the animals life and my experience in viewing the scene. A 400mm zoom can be a nice compromise, it will not always be long enough but is nice to have the ability to hand hold and zoom out when I am approached apon.
That is what income tax returns are for, right?

Great captures Paul, sometimes it is nice to be frozen out but the paycheck suffers I am sure.

Thanks, Joe. What paycheck? We don't mormally stay this cold for this long. I guess we are not the only one, I hear that it has been freezing in California and Arizona aswell. We can get colder than this but it is normally only a few days, not an entire month. At least I have been able to make some use of it.

This is the Male Harrier, from what I understand it is about 15 to 1 female to male. The redish...orange in the sun above are the female.
