    Mousehole Harbour Lights

My trip last weekend to Mousehole (Cornwall) was fantastic as was the switch on of the annual Mousehole Harbour Lights. Unfortunately for photographers the evening was problematic as many of the lights were either on strings or on floating pontoons, which were in continue motion due to the wet squally weather.

Many of the harbour buildings had harsh lighting, such as the Ship Inn in this image, which also didn't help. It is disappointing not to have come back with a raft of good images that this event deserves, however the obstacles this year could not be overcome.

Perhaps, but I'd still say this one was well worthy of the occasion. Not seeing a whole lot you'd want to complain about. The sky really works well in it.

You are far too CRITICAL of your photos -- there is nothing wrong -- the photo would reproduce well in our local newspapers here in Brentwood Essex.
