    Flight of the Canada Goose

Appears that they are still migrating. They were flying of just before my trip from end-Sept and are still at it on my return recently. Probably these have come from really far north. I have also noticed that many will not stay the night and take off around evening and fly at night.

I like the simplicity of the second Bobo, and the exposure of #3.

I like the 2nd one too, Bobo. It kind of reminds me of the 'ducks in flight' that my grandmother used to have on her wall....

I have to go with 2 or 3. I have seem them here migrating but there was way to high up and me without a good long zoom lens they be only a speck in the sky.

They do come down for rest and food.
If you have ponds or lakes in your vicinity you will probably find them on r&r and pick a good moment to get the liftoff. My lens is not terribly long (max 300mm) but geese are very large and not that hard to catch.

Good captures Bobo. I wonder where they are heading, south I guess. I have never seen Canadian Geese in Florida, it seem they do not make it this far south.

Probably not that far south. But they do go over the Atlantic into the UK. Strange habits.
