Himba Girl

Himba is a tribe found in the arid regions of northern Namibia. Red Ochre covering the skin and matted in the hair. Usally bare breasted and clad in furs. The men folk don't seem to uphold the traditional dress. This woman and some of her kin was roadside selling trinkets and for a small fee posed for a picture.

I like it Gav, she has a lot of character in her face. Probably a tough girl I reckon. You could get rid of that black branch behind her head on the right of screen to make it better, it leads the eye away from the subject. Very interesting shot.

I like it. Good job on the exposure. That looks like blazing direct sunlight on a very dark subject covered in red mud. Challenging.
