    A flower, a bird, a bug, and a prayer

Assortment of recent shots. Nothing much to shoot wildlife-wise. Birds migrating, northern birds not yet in. Pretty quiet.

As always C&C welcomed and appreciated.

Great capture, as always. Which lens are you using for your Osprey shots? Recently I spotted two of them soaring high over and around the water body of our park. Not sure if my newly purchased EF 70-300 will be able reach them the way you do.

Great pose, did you offer him the nut in return or he found it himself? Should I get distracted by the yellow flowers on the top? Not sure, but again a great shot at eye level.........

    Thanks Bedanta.

#2 is a hawk (not yet ID'd). He was coming in to catch a squirrel (missed) so was not all that far off.

#4 yes the yellow may be distracting but that was how he was found. Could have gotten him with the flowers but then it would have become a top down shot. Nope I did not give him the peanut. He had "squirreled" it away and had just dug it back up. Strange how they know where their own stuff is. Other squirrels were using the same lawn to bury theirs.
