    Tools,sunrise and sunset calculator

I can't make any sense of this calculator. Could someone explain its workings to me please?

Looking at the calculator it appears that dawn is at 5.41, sunrise is at 6.06 am, mid-day is at 11.53, sunset is at 5.41, and dusk is 6.06. The grey lines show the direction of sunrise and sunset.

Interesting calculator in that is also shows the colour temperature the blue and golden hours. Could you provide the link to the calculator, as I have done a quick search and looked at about two dozen and there are many more to help narrow it down.

    Cheers:

You might also want to check out http://photoephemeris.com/. It's free on the PC and not very expensive for the smart phone version. I use both. it has this and more, e.g., moonrise and moonset times and directions.

Thank you Terri it is the one from this site, how could I have been, how to you say "DUMB" with captials, I will now hang my head in shame and repeat, for the rest of the day, "first check the CIC site", first check the CIC site" and so on and so on.

    Cheers:

Thanks very much Ken. I'd been trying it using the default setting without typing in the location and hitting the "find" button. Was getting nothing of any use. Thanks again. regards....Pete
