    Hot Shoe Flash Assistance

    Is there by any chance a tutorial in the making for flashes and ISO guide numbers whatever they are and propr use of flashes etc etc etc?

    I don't know of any here, but I can suggest 4 things ...

    1. The strobist website -http://strobist.blogspot.com/ - it's often referenced as the best place to start learning.

    2. N K Guy wrote an online "book" on Canon EOS flash - http://photonotes.org/articles/eos-flash/ - there's a lot of historical stuff that won't apply, but some excellent fundamentals of how Canon EOS flashes work in various camera modes.

    3. Experiment for yourself (best way to put the theory into practice).

    4. Ask questions here. I for one have Canon EOS flashes pretty well sussed, and I'm sure that we can help with most questions.
