    Ferrari Fly

This my favorite photograph from a series of macros of insects, the full series is on my website.
105mm d Nikkor ISO 200 f11@ 1/250th. This is part of a project of mine to challenge myself doing different types of photography.

Amazing detail, even to the scale of those ugly little hairs. Saturation looks a touch strong on my monitor, but a great image overall. And I could have lived happily the remainder of my life not knowing this creature shares our space .

    Appreciate the comments.
With respect to sharing our space - the close up of the Beetle on my web site is worse, even if he was a friendly and patient subject.
As for saturation, you may be right. I have been struggling with some landscapes to day - either too saturated or too washed out - difficult balance.

    All the best!
