Dubai by night

I took up photography 3 years ago as I wanted to document my travels and learn a new hobby while living in a city which was literally growing around me day by day. My initial photography efforts were centred around the architecture of Dubai, quickly moving onto nightscapes once I got myself a decent tripod. Here are a few shots from around the city by night.

Thanks everyone. A little taster of the architecture on offer.

Luckily I get the chance to visit locations when the visibility is good. For so much of the year is it too dusty to shoot cityscapes and the humidity, combined with the spray from the Dubai Fountain, makes shooting around the Burj Khalifa a challenge.

Eye candy. The golds, blues, greens and pops of red are so lush against the night sky.
