mini daffy dills
It is winter here and damn all in flower in my wife's garden at the moment; some wall flowers, Italian lavenders and not much else. Anyway I was mooching around, hopefully with camera in hand, when I found these miniature daffodils in flower, hiding behind a hedge. Beggars can't be choosers, so.....
Thanks for viewing. The settings for this were f/10.0, 1/200 sec and ISO 200. Used a canon 10 -22 mm lens on a D1000 on a tripod.

Re: mini daffy dills
Hi, Ken
I barely know a daffodil from a manatee, so I rarely comment on flowers. I like the capture overall, but I'm not crazy about the light. (Please note that I am at work on a crappy monitor so kindly disregard if this seems off the mark). The light seems a bit harsh and overly contrasty. I dont have access to your histogram, but wonder if it might help to decrease exposure and contrast a tad, particularly for the petals which might reaveal more detail. I suspect a re-visit a few hours earlier or later might be the best approach. Hope this helps a little.
