    Some from this evening

Went out and about this evening with a friend of mine who is a more accomplished photographer than i am by a long way to do some shots in a little area he knows of. I gained a lot of hints and tips from him that i intend to use as i progress and hopefully get better. Some of the stuff we tried today worked and others i didnt think did.
Anyway here are some of the stuff from this evening. As always C&C welcome

A nice collection of pictures! I like the one of the fields the best and maybe the one just above it. I cannot give tec. advice as I don't know enough. But I did enjoy you pictures.

Were you using a tripod, Paul?

I see that some of those shots had very slow shutter speeds and have ended up a fraction on the soft side.

Even with a tripod, I find that foliage which will move in the slightest breeze can blur a little at these speeds.

Personally, I would have increased the Iso to around 400 in order to get a faster shutter speed.

The basic composition looks fine to me.

Thanks Geoff. All were used with a tripod at ISO 100 which probably explains the slow shutter speed. I'll try and up the ISP next time and see how they go.
