These are moment shots worked on Lightroom 4.
First one is a father playing with his baby. I didn't like the colors available for framing, so I decided to go B&W. I've also tried to remove some shadows on father's face.
The second one is a mother sewing her daughter's pants, tried to go on a cosy feeling. Unfortunately someone was sitting to close to the theme, and I really wanted that dog on the frame, so i tried to take the attention away from the intruder with some vigneting, instead of just croping it out (no way I can photoshop it out, yet)

I'm posting both the before and after lightroom images.

What do you think that could be done better.

Rodrigo, I think the first one is cropped perfectly, and looks fine as black and white. Not sure how you reduced the blur on the dad's hands, or made the baby's smile change, but it looks fine

The second one is busy; the vignetting helps a bit. Nice light on the lady with book.

Oh, it's simple" Just a matter of uploading the wrong original file... (Ooops).
    Anyway...

Thank you, Myra! I was considering adding a bit more vignetting, but It felt like everything was going a bit too dark...

    Here's the correct original
