    I feel really good about this shot.....let me know what you think!!!

    I shot this guy after dark tonight with only the on camera flash. I feel like this shot came out really well.....let me know what you think and what might be done to improve it.

    I know I would be pleased with it... the coloring is very interesting, nice focus on the eyes..

    A great capture of a haughty toad, Kris. This is possibly one of those matters of personal taste, but there seems to be slightly too much red in the photo, and not quite enough contrast. A quick edit to change the colour balance and apply a very gentle contrast curve gives this effect (hope you don't mind) -

    Don't mind at all!!! I have a feeling that I will be getting more pics of this guy and his friend that was with them. I was concerned about this shot since I was using such a long lens at such a close range but was surprised with the result. This is one of the rare occasions that I felt like focus was really good. I am normally guilty of getting soft focus around the eyes.
