When I saw this scene while walking on the streets of Malate, Manila I knew I had to take a picture of these 3 people talking. There's something about their pose and the uniqueness of the vehicles they are resting at that makes the shot interesting to me. Thank you very much for viewing.

IMO, the Philippines (Luzon is all I know) has one of the best transit systems in the world. There are literally thousands of Jeepneys traveling the streets of any city. I never had to wait more than a minute of two to flag one down. Each Jeepney is an individual piece of art as well as a cheap and efficient way of getting from point A to point B. The fare is (by U.S standards) ridiculously low.

BTW: The jeepney mode of transportation originated from converting military jeeps by adding a passenger carrying compartment to the jeep. Each vehicle is painted in wonderfully bright colors and has all types of creative additions such as mirrors and hood ornaments.
