Many thanks to our fellow CiC member who recommended the DVD "The Develop Module" by George Jardine. On their recommendation, I bought it, and have found it to be the single best source of understanding LR that I have experienced, and I have watched/read a bunch. He takes you step-by step through his thought processes regarding specific images, and explains the hows and why of each element of the develop module. For $25. US, the best and most inclusive effort I've seen. Well worth it.
