As I've written on here before, we are hosts for Barking Mad, an organisation that places dogs with host families when they are on holiday/vacation or temporarily unable to care for their pet. It is alternative to kenneling.
Well this weekend, just for the weekend, we have Murphy. He's a Welsh Terrier. We usually take larger dogs (next weekend we have Archie, a Labradoodle, again just for the weekend).
Murphy decided to check out various locations for sleeping!
Not really looking for C & C on this. Just a bit of fun. I know I got the focus point wrong. Thought I had put it on his head, but I must have moved.

LOL... never seen a dog do this in all my life. My cat, Momo, would sleep like this in an instant, but never seen a dog small enough or with enough balance to pull it off. Good for you for providing a safe and loving home while their family is away.

donald: what a great moment you have captured .also what a great thing you are doing by offering these dogs somewhere to feel happy and content.
i know where to bring jack when me and julie want to get away,although dont think there is enough room on top of that chair.

My smaller dogs (Maltese) often do this but, I have never seen a dog this size be able (or want to) pull this off...

Thanks everyone.
Interesting point - I think he does. But am not sure because the owners and the hosts never meet. The Barking Mad staff do all the transfers between houses.

Well done. A very fun shot. I like how you've included a couple other bits of furniture to add some context. The dog looks very relaxed, however, I know I would tip toe around the house for fear of startling him and sending him to the floor.
