    Afternoon Sun over Canberra

    Hi,

This is my first attempt at a pano. It is three photos taken on Lake Burley Griffin it shows the flag on Parliment house, the National Library, Questicon and the High Court building, stitched together using Hugin, which seems to be a pretty handy program. This is my first attempt with it so I have not really got into what it has to offer. I added a bit of ND look using photoshop as the sky was pretty washed out. All and any C&C more that welcome.

    Cheers

For me, Jason, there is one building too much here. I would crop out the big building on the left. To me, it looks too harsh and spoils the whole scene.

    Possibly two different photos.

Hi Geoff, thanks for the feedback. I agree that it is not a very attractive building, I suppose being what it is and what its role is the look is probably appropriate . I have attached another version, this one I have taken a bit of inspiration from one that Colin Southern posted up with a frame around it, and I have moved the crop the other way. Thanks again for your thoughts.

    Cheers

Hi Jason! I also like the new crop better as there is more give and take in the horizon and the main subject is easier to use as a focal point to return to after exploring the shoreline.

    Nice image Jason.
I think you might need some straightening because to me it looks like it is leaning to the right.

Nicely done Jason. The only suggestion I have is to bring up the shadow areas a bit and perhaps a little more sharpening.

    Hey guys,

Thanks for the feedback and ideas, I am still working on this one, I think I may end up with a decent pic in the end.

    Hi again,

This is another try. I changed the words along the bottom and tried to put in place the suggestions as best I could, thank you all again for your feedback. Getting there I think.

    Cheers
