Importing Flikr from LR3 to LR4

I have just upgraded to LR4 from LR3 by converting my catalog.

My Flickr Collection was not updated in thus transfer and other collections have also not transfered. Only smaart collections have.

Is there a way to import this data from LR3 to LR4.

    Thanks

    David

Good question... sorry I do not have the answer. I have the same problem. In fact, I even had to setup the Flickr publish service all over again. I had not bothered with it until this morning, as my process is a bit different than yours. I see they dumped the Smugmug export option as well. (though I just found it available for download from the Adobe LR Exchange) I did a bit of searching in Adobe's forum and found this thread. You may want to keep an eye on it.

Re: Importing Flikr from LR3 to LR4

Thought long and hard and did the following:

Rated and colour coded LR3 Flickr Photostream.

Created a smart collection in LR3. Using the above ratings

Deleted my first conversion of LR3 to LR4 catolouge

Reimported from LR3 to LR4 22,000 photos 1 hour later..

    Smart collection in LR4 !!

Set Flickr as my target collection

Selected all the Flickr Smart Collection

    Add to Flickr Photo stream

    Checked meta data etc...

In LR3 I then deleted the photos in Flickr Photostream and updated....

All photos in Flickr controlled by LR now deleted...

    In LR4 published new photostream.

Now updating collections and sets in Flickr...

    Hope this workflow helps...

    Long winded yes...

    Thanks to Adobe !!!

    Regards
