    Winter Finally Arrives in MI

Living in the UP of Michigan by now we are getting ready for the snow to melt; however this winter season we finally received enough snow to enjoy- just this week with 2 storms! It's very beautiful to watch, but honestly I'm ready for it to melt and the warmth to begin!

    Kori

I missed your posts in February. Great to see you posting again.

I think you could present this in one of two ways - both of which are good and offer different representations. You could crop it square from the top, so that you don't have so much of teh foreground and the the trees really become the primary subject, or you can have it just as you've got it with the road being the main focus of our attention. My only question about how you've presented it here is that the strong horizontal line formed by the bottom of the trees is pretty much on the halfway line.

Thank You for your comments everyone!
Donald - I guess I'm not sure what you mean with your last sentence - "My only question about how you've presented it here is that the strong horizontal line formed by the bottom of the trees is pretty much on the halfway line." Are you referring to the "Rule of thirds"??? If so, I see I posted an uncropped version. I cropped this one - let me know your thoughts please.
    Thank You!!!

    That's exactly it, Kori.

I've marked the line I was meaning.

In my opinion, that's now in a much better place in the image and we've got a nicely balanced picture.
