    Visited California last month. This little fellow was in the marshland in Merced National Wildlife Refuge.

    A couple of really nice shots, bud. The first is just a bit too tight at the bottom, but still a good one. The second, i think i would clone out the first duck on the left. Very nice job overall though, i really like the second one.

    I like the killdeer shot a lot. It is not easy to capture the detail in the feathers and the eye that you have captured. The color may be a bit hotter than I recall for the killdeer, but I like it. The pelicans shot is very nice. You have captured a feeling of place, not just things. Makes me feel good just to look at it.

    I dont see the pelicans, But the killdeer looks great. vI have tried to capture them many times they are fast ,shy, and when I usually do get a shot of them it seems like its at the brightest part of the day and I get all the color washed out.Thanks for another great shot Bud.... wish I could see the pelicans....
