    Marlow Weir at Sunset

Another image of the river taken during a wonderful winter sunset. It is interesting to compare these images with images shot in the summer, to demonstrate how golden the sunset really is.

    Hi Chris,

    Lovely image.

My only tiny criticism is there's a slither of white showing in the lower left corner, where I guess you straightened it and either needed to crop 2 or 3 pixels off, or clone in some river/bank/tree.

    Cheers,

Chris - You're really hitting a purple patch at the moment. The stuff you're posting up is of a consistently very high quality.

There may well be something in what you write about the light at this time of year in that location that you use so often. It certainly has a wonderful quality that is different from those you shot in the summer. It's as if that particular landscape is 'made' fro winter light.
