It looks so peaceful, Ray. Nice composition.

Owing the clouds on the horizon, the sun might not light up the underside of the clouds for a nice sunset. If you can, wait about for a half hour after sunset and with a sky like that you might be rewarded with a spectacular color show.

Yes, I agree with what you say. The best light often happens after the sun has dipped below the horizon. Sadly, on that evening it did not happen. The clouds just got thicker on the horizon and the light became very dull - not photogenic at all. You had to be there.

I only managed to extract an acceptable image by using HDR.
