    I just had to have a go! Fireworks

    Well it's bonfire night here in Blighty so i just had to have a go, Now i know these are far from perfect and others of a lot better quality and composition will probably be posted on here, However for my 1st attempt i think iv'e done ok

    And I would say you did quite well. Nice job. I don't think my first go went as well, it just went.

    My compliments on your first fireworks attempt. Your exposure looks good since the captures have nice color. It is very easy to overexpose fireworks and end up with little color. Fireworks are an interesting subject since you don't know what kind of burst and combination of bursts you will capture. It is fun to see what's on the memory card. For me, the best conditions are when you have some wind to blow away the smoke so that the contrast is not reduced and you end up with a "hazy" photo. Good job.
