    starvin artist

Im a student on a serious budget. but I have an opportunity to shoot local football games at night, great experience, but my current 70-300 f4.5 lense is not fast enough to shoot with the low light conditions, so... I am looking for a reasonably priced 70-200mm f.2 lense for a Nikon. Thanks.

O-T-O-H, it depends a lot on the lighting where the game is played. I have seen some pretty decently lit high school stadiums (mostly in Texas) but many city stadiums in other areas where soccer would be played could have abismal lighting.

shooting for a local sports show, its mostly video, but they wanted some still shots to go along with it I was using a monopod(somewhat, mostly hand held) and had my iso at 1600, I am going to add the shots to my site ...
