Great shot Mike/ I like the lines of the street, and the curve of the train around the point on the ground. Also the bw conversion looks very good.

    Mike

Are you back? Or are you still there?

What makes me jealous about this sort of shot is the ability you (and some others) have to 'see' the shot in the first place. Presumably you were juts going about your business with camera to hand and noticed this arrangement of the two 'trains' and saw the picture in it. I don't think I see things that quickly.

    Thanks Jeroen.
Still here Donald, and call in most days. It's not been the best summer for me for many reasons, so the cameras have been very inactive. I hope to change all that during my forthcoming trip to France.
You flatter with your comments. I put it down to the luck of being in the right place at the right time. How else can you explain the opportunity to take this shot at the busiest tourist spot in Avignon, yet keep it people free? And I didn't park the trains!!

I must be warped Mike, I want them facing opposite directions, between two sets of stones (to imitate patforms), so it looks more like an aerial view of a station (but causing a double-take because no rails).

That, or parked on the stones, so they imitate rails.

(except they are steps, so that could be tricky )

There's no hope for me, is there?
