    Tried a zoom out exposure for the first time. Not sure I did it correctly, so I would appreciate any feedback as to how to do it better next time. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Nina,

    If we haven't conversed before, may I take this opportunity to welcome you to the CiC forums.

    It kinda depends what you were after, these things aren't usually my cup of tea (oh, how english that must sound ).

    Some things to try;
    Perhaps less overall exposure?
    Start zooming just before the shutter opens and use a speed of zoom so the shutter closes just before the zoom ends if you want to avoid the double edge effect.
    That said, it might be better to have a significant amount of stationery image with just a hint of zoom blur over it.
    Not sure if that works best with the small image (zoomed out) or large, it probably depends on the subject and lighting.

    Cheers,
