My love of photography started when I began to take photos of my daughter playing Lacrosse. She is now about to represent Wales in the U19 World Championships in 2 weeks time in Hannover. I have saved like mad and have just managed to get enough to buy a decent tele lens (Canon 100-400 L IS USM) and cannot wait to get snapping as I have been granted a Press Pass and will be on the field with the professionalsThis is a photo taken at a training match using my 55-250 IS lens, my daughter is on the right and the photo below.

Thank you for your good wishes, I know we will all have an awesome time.
I will be using my EOS 550D which I had this Christmas, my first DLSR camera so I am a real newby but having so much fun learning as I go along. This is why this Forum is so helpful with all the advice and tips given.Which camera are you using ?

You will be amazed how fast it focuses the sport scenes and makes the captures a lot easier
However, the 550D is good enough for the portraits or landscapes for example.
