Mary this is a fun thread to have started, it's nice to see a little of everyones world.... this shot is just a quick snap I took this afternoon when I went for a walk.. when I leave my building and turn right, 3 blocks down and this is the end of my street - the Strait of Juan de Fuca with the Olypmic Mountains of Washington state across it (somewhat clouded in today). If I happen to turn left instead and go to the opposite end of my street about 4 blocks down, I'm at the edge of the inner harbor and downtown. To me, this little area is the best place on earth :D

I like this image very much but, would have liked it even better if a clerk was leaning on the counter looking out the window facing us...

This is my favorite "let the world go by" spot. It's hidden in the woods, close to our weekend house.

And this is my view from the kitchen window - at least on week-ends. I love spending the weekends in the woods - but I'm glad to be back in town on Sunday evening.
