Re: Cloudscape and others
Since we are all sharing our cloudy little secrets. These were shot at Hayle in Cornwall with a point and shoot using Wirevixen as a tripod and stretching a ferrets stomach lining over the lens to avoid glare. I dressed in a black basque with fishnet stockings and waders and put a Barbie beach towel over my head. No technical reason for this. It is just the way I dress when on holiday. I did think of putting my welding goggles over the lens but I had left them back at the studio follwing a rather hectic shoot involving a womens rugby team and a herd of wilderbeest.

You are wicked Steve. Great dramatic shots. I like them all.
I'll add this one - not as dramatic.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback! You should really try it. It dramatically changes the picture. You might get a stare or two, but it's worth it! [:

Here in Texas, there are great views of the sky and here are a few I shot from my back yard:
The Cirrus clouds were just right with the Sun illuminating the rainbow parhelion:

and about the time when the Discovery Channel crew were off chasing tornados, this storm kept nice distance for this photo:

This was shot last Autumn on the Brazos River with a view into the light:

( The tripod was actually standing in the water to get this view. )

No really. The Wilderbeest insisted on wearing 6" killer heels and that played havoc with the lino.

Just another Saturday night in Port Talbot I see. Great shot Rob and I love the ships bones in the foreground.

Not very dramatic, but I had never seen a cloud like this before.
Wendy, are you sure you don't live in Never Never Land?:)
