Sorry, Raylee, it wasn't the 'high key' option in OptikVerve - it was 'shoe box'.

The shot itself of the glass is fine, just the same as mine. It's not dark enough though. Mine was on black paper with a black backdrop. I used 'invert' and then fiddled with brightness and contrast. Added 'fibres' for the texture. I also used white crepe paper as the background. I'll try your technique though.

Hmm. I've downloaded it but it doesn't seem to work. It does say that it's not compatible with CS4 on 64 bit and I'm running CS5 on 64 bit. Looks like I'm out of luck.

I tried the black background and the single light source but I ended up with spot light effects. I started mucking around and this is what I came up with. Quite a way away from Rob's.

Hi Raylee,

If you go back into Optikeverve and download Virtual Studio. It opens up as a standalone program (including Virtual Photographer). You can open it separately to PS and you will not have compatibility issues.

Or, you can load CS in 32bit version. You should have both installed.

I finally got back to this task. I started off following Rob's instructions of black background, single light source, invert etc. I accidentally selected colour negative and liked the result. I was then influenced by Steve's use of smoke and this is what I came up with.
