I like the color capture in post #18 but in 19 and 20 the colors look muted.

Thanks Joe, no it is just a piece broken off the tree on the ground. I had a look at your suggestion, thank you, unfortunately I do not have software for selective lightening of shadows. My intent for the first one was silhouette and the second one was an exercise in framing. Cheers...Lindsay

Thank you for your observation, John. I thought I'd post this one as I think it is the best of the Devil's Marbles. Although they do seem to fade out a bit when posted to this forum.
